Here is some pictures of buildings I found interesting this week. As you can see, I have couple of churches here. Besides taking photos during the day, I thought I would try to be creative and took some pictures as the sun was setting. You can see the difference in the tower pictures I posted. I am not using any photo software. What you see is what you get. I was not aware that we should be enhancing these photos in any way. If anyone has a suggestion on what I would be able to download off the internet that will help me, let me know. Hope you like my photos. You can see the rest at http://www.fotothing.com/rhonda4313/.

Baseball week 3

These photos I kept the color and played with it a little. I love the soft focus bubble gum wrapper. What says baseball more than Double Bubble gum... Maybe Bazooka. I love the last picture of the tree out in center field. It supplies the much needed shade for the spectators on those hot summer days.

Baseball Week 2

This is from the same practice session as week 1 post. This is some infield work. I tried to capture some action shots. I also chose the dugout shot because I really liked the stillness the dugout expressed.

Baseball Week 1

Hi everyone, I am late posting. I haven't had many opportunities to capture my theme of baseball, since the season is just getting started. This is from the 1st practice session. We have opening day next Saturday. More posts to follow.

I tried to find some different urban shots to take this week. I was looking for more of an inner city feel. I wanted to focus on abandoned building and graffiti. They were harder to find then I thought. I posted a few here and some on my Fotothing account. I find this interesting and will try to get more shots of this over the next few weeks.

Happy Easter Everyone!

We are heading over to my brother and sister- in- laws this after noon for an Easter family get together.... My wife picked up a small potted pink Calla Lily at the grocery store to bring.... before letting it out of the house, I sat it on the stove in the kitchen with the hood light on to photograph it... I screwed 3 adapter close up filters on the front of my 50mm 1.4 lens... a $12.98 special from Overstock.com... :)

Happy Easter!

A set of water movement

I've posted a set of water movement shots on my fotothing account - http://www.fotothing.com/jplyman/ - The above shot is my favorite of the bunch. As you can see from fotothing, I have this issue with including too much sky in the shot. Something to work on :) But this picture has almost all water and I love the way it came out. Clicked just at the right time!
