This week I decided to look for more graffiti. I find this interesting and feel it is a pretty cool art form that is not appreciated. It was very easy to find bad graffiti but I found it tougher to find some that took skill to create. I have posted a few photos that I liked on the subject. Over the next few weeks I will try to locate more of this unique art.
The top image is the more interesting of the two because you gave it some context. The tires and sky makes the viewer contemplate urban decay and isolation from nature... Another type of context might be to include passersby.

ReplyDeleteThe different shades of gray are great. The dark sky and the portion of tree in the corner are nice contrasts against the tires and painted board. It works that the two only natural elements are either gray skies or portions of trees.
